I am fascinated by all aspects of the creative process.
I am predominantly a photo model, working in the genres of fine art nude, portrait, lifestyle, and natural glamour. My specialty and passion is the environmental nude. I also offer styling, creative direction, and portfolio review as requested. I love alternative processes, wet plate collodion, film photography, and creative collaborations that have an impact.
Since 2010, I have worked with artists of many mediums, from a variety of backgrounds and levels of expertise. My work as a model has given me opportunities to travel the world, connecting with creative professionals and hobbyists from many walks of life. I am honored to have been published in numerous books and magazines, as well as exhibited in galleries and museums both nationally and abroad.
That said, I enjoy working with creatives of all experience levels.
I deeply value the artistic expression that my modeling work has allowed me and the lasting connections I have cultivated over the years.
current look
I typically wear natural or very little makeup, but also travel with a small makeup kit. For looks that are more involved, please considering hiring an experienced makeup artist.
My hair is currently just past my shoulders. It tends to be naturally wavy or curly. I have dark brown hair with strands of silver woven throughout. I do not cut, color, or use heat styling on my hair.
I have three small tattoos that mostly go unnoticed.
My mixed ancestry gives me dramatic features and prominent eyebrows, as well as hair on my body. I tend to keep my legs waxed, bush and armpit hair trimmed. I will not shave my bush, hands, or arms. In an increasingly artificial world, I am proud to be, for the most part, natural.
professional boundaries
I do not shoot explicit or erotic content. I reserve the right to turn down wardrobe, makeup, concepts, and/or poses that are out of alignment with my personal aesthetic and values. My portfolio will give you a good idea of the type of work I do.
Please do not touch me while we are shooting. If a hands-on adjustment is absolutely necessary, please ask for my permission first.
If we are shooting for multiple days, I will require private sleeping arrangements and adequate alone time to rest and recharge.
I do not drink or use drugs while working.
the vibe (aka: who I am as a person)
I am by nature equal parts silly and serious, heartfelt and irreverent, playful and poised, professional and personable. I love to dance, garden, cook, read, sing, and many other things.
I am a morning person. I welcome sunrise shoots.
I am outdoorsy and love to camp. I love adventurous photoshoots with other experienced campers.
I am passionate about restorative justice, food sovereignty, and ecological restoration. I am a student of liberation psychology, somatic experiencing, and regenerative herbalism..
